The Swedish Society for Occupational and Environmental Hygenists

This is the homepage of Swedish Society for Occupational and Environmental Hygenists (SYMF).

The Swedish Association of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene has approximately 150 members and is an association for Hygienists working in both Industry and Health Care Centrals. The association is, among other things, working with certification of Occupational and Environmental Hygienists, and the first Hygienists was certificated in July 2003.

SYMF is also focusing on how to increase the knowledge of working environment and has drawn attention to the fact that few exposure measurements are performed in Sweden today. Together with the authorities SYMF is now preparing a proposal on how to increase the number of measurements.
