IOHA Webinar – Findings of the Australian Mesothelioma Registry
The Australian Mesothelioma Registry (AMR), is managed by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) and funded by Safe Work Australia (SWA). Operating since 2011, findings of asbestos exposure and trends in mesothelioma incidence and death by the registry will be discussed. In particular, we will describe in detail how the AMR collects asbestos exposure information, obtained from consenting mesothelioma patients through a postal questionnaire and telephone interview.
